reParta vs YardTerminal

reParta manages the yard and lists on eBay and Facebook. YardTerminal only lists, on eBay Motors and Shopify, and waits for a person to approve each listing.

4 min read

We make YardTerminal, so read this knowing that. Everything below about reParta is quoted from its own website as it stood on 8 October 2026. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it, with the date of the change.

The short version

If you want one tool that tracks donor vehicles, tells you what each car earned and lists on eBay and Facebook Marketplace, reParta does more of that than we do, and starts at a lower price.

If you already have a way to run the yard, you sell on eBay Motors and your own Shopify store, and you want a person to read every listing before it goes live, that is the job YardTerminal was built for.

What reParta is

Its homepage calls it "Salvage Yard Management & Multichannel Listing Software", for auto recyclers and dismantlers from solo operators to growing yards. Its FAQ says "reParta publishes to your own eBay account and assists Facebook Marketplace listings, with automatic delisting when a part sells on any channel."

Where reParta is stronger

  • It is live. YardTerminal opens in October 2026 and has no customers yet.
  • It tells you what a car earned: "See profit per donor, per channel, per month." YardTerminal keeps the link between a sale and its donor but has no per-car earnings report today.
  • It helps before you buy the car, with a pre-bid ROI calculator. YardTerminal has no auction data and makes no bid predictions.
  • It covers Facebook Marketplace, as an assisted publish through a browser extension. YardTerminal does not list on Facebook at all.
  • Its plans include orders and tracking, and a clients list (CRM). YardTerminal has neither.
  • It has interchange built in, which its blog describes as "its own data, not licensed from anyone". YardTerminal has no interchange database.
  • It starts at $49 a month. YardTerminal's first paid plan is $149.

Shopify

As of 8 October 2026, reParta's homepage and pricing page do not mention Shopify. The channels they name are eBay, as a native listing, and Facebook Marketplace, as an assisted one.

YardTerminal lists on eBay Motors and a Shopify storefront from one record, and a sale on either ends the other. See eBay and Shopify from one record.

Who presses publish

reParta's site does not describe a review or approval step before a listing goes to eBay. It may have one. Ask.

YardTerminal: the agent drafts the listing and a person approves it. There is no setting that turns that off.

Trying it, and paying for it

reParta: three plans at $49, $299 and $599 a month, each with a "14-day free trial", and in its own words "No free-forever plan".

YardTerminal: free for 50 listings a month with no card and no end date, then $149 and $349 plans, on the pricing page.

Where they are the same

Both list on your own eBay account. Both say a sold part comes off the other channels. reParta: "Sell on any channel and it auto-delists everywhere else." YardTerminal ends the other listings when the sale lands and checks each one against the channel afterwards. Neither has a mobile app today. reParta says "A native app is on the way"; YardTerminal runs in a phone browser and has nothing in an app store.

Questions to ask either of us

  • Does it replace the way I run the yard, or sit beside it?
  • Which channels are fully automatic, and which need me to click?
  • Does anything go live without a person reading it?
  • Where does the fitment come from, and what happens when it is wrong?
  • What does it cost after the trial, in writing?
  • If I leave, how do I get my data out, and in what format?

Our answers are on the limits page, including the ones that are no.

Stop typing the same listing three times. One email when it opens. Nothing else, ever.
