YardTerminal is building the yard’s system of record.

Listing, inventory, channels and audit — designed around the one fact retail software ignores: a used part has a quantity of one.

Where this comes from

The problem was never the listing. It was the moment after the sale, on every other channel.

Yards have been listing parts online for twenty years. The software caught up on the easy half: getting a part described, priced and put in front of a buyer.

The hard half never got solved. A used part came off one car — there is exactly one of it. The moment it sells anywhere it has to be gone everywhere, and almost every tool on the market keeps that count in three places and reconciles them on a timer.

Our answer

One record owns the count. Every channel reads it; none keep a copy. The approval step, the ninety-day history and per-yard isolation are the same instinct applied to every corner of the job.

Three things we hold ourselves to.

We say what it does not do

The agent drafts listings and stops. It does not publish, it does not price behind your back, and it does not invent a part number it cannot verify. Every limit is on the site, because a limit you find out about later is a broken promise.

Your inventory is yours

Every record carries the yard it belongs to, and every query is filtered by it at the database layer rather than by a check somewhere in the application. No yard can see another yard — enforced, not promised.

We do not invent numbers

No customer counts, testimonials or time-saved figures anywhere on this site, because we do not have them yet. When a yard gives us a real number it will be the strongest thing on the page. Until then, absence is the honest answer.
