Short answer: no, if the listing says used. The rule covers new and new-other only. But the way you classify new-old-stock decides which side you are on, and five categories a yard depends on are excluded outright.

The expensive electronics get borrowed. A buyer orders a module, tests with it for a fortnight, and returns it inside the window. Here is the version nobody writes about, and the only defence that works.

The fee is the number everyone quotes and the smallest one in the calculation. Storage, photography, description writing, listing time and returns typically double the cost basis of a part before it sells.

Four fields on a parts listing, and only two are read by the thing that decides whether a buyer ever sees you. Getting them backwards is the most expensive habit in the category.

The obvious shortcut is to find a similar part already listed and copy its vehicle list. It fails for a reason you cannot see by looking at it, and the failure compounds every year.

Everybody knows Below Standard means higher fees. The half nobody mentions is what happens to your listings in search, and that is the part that ends yards.
